چکیده
The estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of a single shale gas well is one the important evaluation indicators for scale and benefit development gas, which affected by many factors such as geological engineering, so its accurate prediction difficult. In order to realize recovery, this study considered 172 wells in Weiyuan block samples selected 19 engineering that affect wells. Furthermore, eight key controlling were means Pearson correlation coefficient maximum mutual information comprehensive method. data divided into training testing samples. Different numbers seven schemes designed. Based on factors, model was established through multiple regression methods. effectiveness verified analyzing result shows with increase size samples, error predicted gradually decreases gradually. When predicting well, average absolute less than 20% if number more 80. potential similar blocks without drilling, sum 10% reaches 60.

SPE 139118 Production Analysis and Well Performance Forecasting of Tight Gas and Shale Gas Wells
Estimation of reserves in tight gas and shale gas reservoirs is problematic due to the low to ultra-low permeability characteristics of these reservoir systems. The sole application of conventional decline curve analysis methodologies often yields erroneous reserve estimates. Therefore, the use of theoretically-based production analysis techniques has become a must to analyze well performance a...
متن کاملOrganic compounds in produced waters from shale gas wells.
A detailed analysis is reported of the organic composition of produced water samples from typical shale gas wells in the Marcellus (PA), Eagle Ford (TX), and Barnett (NM) formations. The quality of shale gas produced (and frac flowback) waters is a current environmental concern and disposal problem for producers. Re-use of produced water for hydraulic fracturing is being encouraged; however, kn...

This paper analyzes and quantifies characteristic production behavior using historical data from 1084 shale gas wells in the Eagle Ford shale play from 2010 to 2014. Decline curve analysis, using Hyperbolic and Stretched Exponential models, are used to derive average decline rates and other characteristic parameters for shale gas wells. Both Hyperbolic and Stretched Exponential models fit well ...
متن کاملSupport vector regression for prediction of gas reservoirs permeability
Reservoir permeability is a critical parameter for characterization of the hydrocarbon reservoirs. In fact, determination of permeability is a crucial task in reserve estimation, production and development. Traditional methods for permeability prediction are well log and core data analysis which are very expensive and time-consuming. Well log data is an alternative approach for prediction of pe...

This paper presents a novel operational scheme for enhanced utilization of late-life shale multi-well systems. These systems are characterized by a large number of geographically spread wells and pads, where a substantial number of the wells are producing at low erratic rates due to reservoir pressure depletion and well liquid loading. By applying a cyclic shut-in and production strategy, the s...
